A Teacher, a Parent, and a Neighbor

I grew up here, went to school here, and chose to raise my family here. As a teacher for 18 years and a parent of five children in Rich School District, I would bring a perspective to the board that is hard to replace.

This past May, I watched my oldest son walk across the graduation stage, and this August, my youngest will walk through the kindergarten door for the first time. I'm running because I believe our schools are strongest when board leadership includes voices with direct roots in our classrooms and our community.

What I Stand For

01
Academic Excellence

Students in Rich School District are capable of more, and I know it because I've taught here. My goal is to make sure every student leaves better prepared β€” for college, for trade school, for life.

02
Fiscally Responsible

I will not vote to raise taxes. Rich County families already fund our schools well through property taxes β€” the board's job is to use those dollars wisely, not ask our community for more.

03
Supporting Teachers

Great schools start with great teachers. After 18 years in the classroom, I know what support looks like β€” and I'll make sure our teachers have it.

04
Informed Leadership

A Masters in Education and a School Administration Certificate means I can engage with curriculum, policy, and instruction at a level that actually moves the needle.

05
A Parent's Perspective

I have five kids in Rich School District. Every decision I make as a board member will be made with the perspective of a parent who has real skin in the game β€” because I do.

06
Home Grown & Here to Stay

I graduated from Rich High. I chose to raise my family here. I'm not passing through β€” I'm invested in this community for the long haul.
